Mandatory Requirements:
Number of Position : ONE, NOTE: Candidates who do not meet all of the following mandatory requirements will not be considered for further evaluation and the entire proposal will be deemed non-responsive. a. A minimum of eight (8) years experience as the lead project manager on mid to large-sized IT software development projects which included analysis, design, coding, quality assurance, implementation, infrastructure and security tasks. b. A minimum of four (4) years experience developing and managing project schedules and resources, using Microsoft Project. c. A minimum of four (4) years experience performing risk management including risk identification, risk assessment, monitoring, and controlling risks. d. A minimum of four (4) years experience developing and executing project communications plans. e. A minimum of four (4) years experience managing project execution and control. f. Ability to clearly and correctly communicate in both written and spoken English.

Desirable Requirements:
a. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and post-certification experience. Provide date of certification and PMP number. b. Experience with the NYS Department of Health project management environment and using the Department’s project management methodology. c. Experience applying the NYS Project Management methodology to manage projects. d. Experience in managing business process redesign, business process improvement or change management projects. e. Experience with managing projects in the health care field. f. Experience facilitating workshops and focus group sessions. g. Experience training and mentoring project managers. h.
